Recently I followed a discussion on a Real Estate professional website about whether to present all offers to sellers.

I believe all offers must be presented as written to avoid agents interfering with the process. "Present all offers" means exactly what is says.

I am a bit puzzled by the notion that the receiving broker would do anything other than Present the offer as written.  It is, after all the buyer’s offer and the buyer’s agent who are responsible for the content of their offer.  If things are ambiguous, that potentially could work in the sellers favor and can be corrected in a counter offer.  If the offer is missing critical components, but the offer has otherwise got potential, sort that out after the seller has seen and understood what was received.

On the other hand, a verbal offer isn't really an offer at all. Those could be ignored, if one chooses to do so.
