Whether you’re researching landscaping ideas, or gardening is a favorite activity, you’ll find many like-minded souls in our Sun City, TX community.  Driving about our community you’ll see yards as varied as the people who move here. 

Each Spring the Garden Club hosts a popular tour of resident yards. We always enjoy the annual event, and make good use of cell phone cameras, for ideas and inspiration. A new heat loving beauty we’re seeing more often around Sun City is Pride of Barbados, above. 

This year you can visit 7 gardens, plus the horticultural center, on Saturday, May 14 & Sunday, May 15, 10-3 and 11-3pm respectively.  Tickets are available online, at the Community Association Office, and in The Atrium of the Activity Center on Texas Drive the mornings of the tour for a modest fee. Proceeds support Garden Club programs open to all residents, and donations to local charities.
