This is a very uncertain time but regardless of the media, there are a lot of reports that we are flattening the curve and things are looking better out there. If you've been on the fence about selling your home, there is some good news. Real estate is an essential service and people still need to buy a property and sell their property so you shouldn't be fearful if you need to sell your Sun City property.
There are a lot of ways you can market your home, list your property, and get it sold without any physical contact. With technology, virtual tours, e-signatures in many other ways we can do things virtually, you almost never even have to see another human being. Most real estate transactions occur without the buyer and the seller ever meeting face-to-face and while a lot of people do meet face-to-face with their buyer's agent or their listing agent, title company, escrow, or lenders, a lot of these procedures can be done completely online.
Should you choose to list your property now, the chances of it selling quickly might surprise you. There are very few listings on the market and those that are on the market have probably been there for some time, meaning there may be a reason why they haven't sold. By listing your property now, you can have the right buyers viewing your property and only serious buyers at that. Those that need to buy are very serious about purchasing and will only spend the time to look at your property if they are serious.
There's not a lot of competition either. This is great for homeowners looking to sell. Without a lot of other homes on the market, buyers are encouraged to purchase the inventory that is available and at top value.
We can do virtual tours, FaceTime tours, or we can completely leave the property, sterilize it, and allow for buyers the chance to view the property on their own. Some buyers do need to see the property in person and this is where I would suggest that homeowners leave the property for a good 3 to 4 hours and upon return, sterilize and wipe down doorknobs, handrails, and any hardware that buyers may touch. Within a couple of hours or even a shorter amount of time after buyers have been in the home, any germs that are airborne should of drifted safely to the floor. I would recommend vacuuming, sweeping, or mopping down the floor after you have visitors but again, these visitors are serious buyers so it's not like you're going to have dozens of people throughout your home within a couple of days.
